Magnetic Field And Force: How To Find, Relations And Direction

Magnetic field and force are interrelated to each other in so many ways possible and when we regard the magnetic field to be present it only is due to the force in it.

Finding magnetic field from force is easy using a formula and then we use this formula to determine magnetic field density values and force also.

Before we move into the detailing of magnetic field and force we need to separately we need to know what exactly magnetic field and the force means in their own ways, also the relation between them in all spheres.

Magnetic field is one of the electromagnetic forces which have the attractive and repulsion properties with each other. The magnetic field is created form the changing magnetic fields. There are so many ways on order to create the magnetic fields.

Consider a current carrying conductor in which certain amount of current passes through it and this will create electricity in the system. The electricity will in turn have the electric fields present in the same.

The electric lines of force will immediately create an electric field in the system. So now there will a time where these electric fields will change with respect to time. Hence the electric fields that constantly change will produce a magnetic field in turn.

Now this magnetic field is directly connected to the force of the system. When there is force there will be certain amount of other quantities contributing to the system too. Now we shall see how magnetic field and force connected.

How to find magnetic field from force?

Magnetic field can be found from a formula called Magnetic Lorentz Force. This force mainly deals with a charged particle movement along with the magnetic and electric field related.

Firstly we need to know what all the entities in the formula is required for and the evaluate the rest. There is also a rule called as the right hand thumb rule where the thumb and the rest of the fingers mean something.

Right hand thumb rule indicates the magnetic field and the magnetic lines of force in a system where the forces are also indulged. A charged particle will move with a particular velocity with a particular force.

The force with which the particle moves in a system is regarded to the velocity also. When the particles moves there is electric field created due to the instant production of electric lines of force.

Then there is the magnetic field which is produced due to changing electric field. That is, when the electric fields are keeping on changing there will be a rise in the magnetic field. This magnetic field is connected to the force with which the particle moves in a system.

Form the formula magnetic Lorentz force we can determine magnetic field from force value.

F = Bqvsineϴ, here since the force is in right angles to the magnitude of the velocity and the magnetic field of the charge the value will be 90.

Hence by rearranging the formula according to the values we get the final formula as,

F = Bqv

This is the only way to find the magnetic field from force and hence this could also be useful in finding the other quantities as well.

Magnetic field and force relationship

Magnetic field and the force could be related only in one way and that is the magnetic Lorentz force. Also force depends on the magnetic field value that is, when there is force there will be speed, charge and so many other factors contributing to the system.

There will be no movement of particle if there is no force and when there is no force there will certainly be no presence of magnetic field. And process will repeat itself for a long period of time.

Force of a charged particle is perpendicular to the magnetic field density value and the magnitude of velocity a well. So there is a direct connection between the force and the magnetic field.

The magnetic field and force are certainly connected to one another by means of a formula. And that formula we call it as the magnetic Lorentz force where force of a charged particle is directly proportional to each other.

Magnetism is somewhat similar to the electricity but these entities are the same but differ according to the circumstances. The poles of the magnetic are different and the force existing between two magnets is known to be the magnetic force.

So like this the magnetic field and force are correlated and there can be chance of both non-existent but one has to be present for the other to also be present. The magnetic force is one of the strong force that are been discussed in several areas.

Magnetic field and force direction

In a magnetic field force exists as an integral part of the system. Force is the most required part of the system to drive the charge. The force of magnets are strong that is can move the particles from one end to another.

The direction of the force in a magnetic field is easily detectable because there is a rule to indicate the direction of force magnitude of force and the magnetic field direction. So the rule is right hand rule.

In the right hand rule the thumb indicates the direction of force of magnet, middle finger indicates the direction of the moving charge and the forefinger indicates the direction of the magnetic field.

In this way we know that the magnetic field and force is interrelated to one another. When we first make use of the right hand rule we know these are the factors which affect and also enhance the force in the system.

We also know that the direction of is always perpendicular to the magnitude of the magnetic field. The magnetic force is also the strongest of forces. we must know that he product or the cross product of the charge and the magnetic field is equal to the force present in pushing the charge forward.
